what version RecordNow Max are you using ? (4.10 / 4.50)
what other burning software have you got installed ? Nero by any chance??? When I upgraded RNW to 4.50 I had error messages saying that there were conflicts with Nero (5.5.9.0). So, I re-installed RNW4.10 and have no further problems. Your error code - have you checked this out to see the exact reason? Under "Help>Drive Error Codes" (or something like that). It might be on the read side due to a damaged disc. Have you tried backing up any other originals?
