For Media usage use Sony or TDK or Verbatim works fairly well for CDR games..As for DVD-R's once again use TDK or Verbatims.
As every PS2 laser is different so some might use Generics and get away with it but for best results above mentioned media's work the best. Clone CD is the Best CD duplicater out there.
