Mr_Vmax (21-01-2001 18:46):
I'm quite new at this, but here goes nothing:
I have some original CD's that I want to make a backup from. The CD's are SOF (Soldier of Fortune), Need for Speed Porsche 200, Swat 3, Rogue Spear and Homeworld.
I have checked the CD's against the "CloneCD Games Database" by MoD, and found that they all are protected in different ways.
I have a HP8100+ CD-writer and a AOPEN CD-952E CD-reader, both are on the same IDE cable. I'm using NERO v. 5.0.2.4.

I can't copy any of these CD's. Do I need some extras from GameCopyWorld (like patches or something)??

Please advise, as I'm going nuts over here.
Thanx in advance.

Mr Vmax
OK here goes if i am wrong on anything someone will correct me (i hope). Provided that your burner can use cloneCD then that is what i will recommend for ALL of the games that you have mentioned to make your backup CD's. Otherwise i can only help you with Homeworld which can be backed up using Adaptec BUT you will need the game crack to make it work either No-CD or .EXE. The others i cannot help you with for i dont have those games but have ordered SoF and am awaiting its delivery. I also am new to backing up my CD's and if it wasnt for the help given here then i would still be struggling and blundering along blindlessly.
