How do I copy these games ??
I'm quite new at this, but here goes nothing:
I have some original CD's that I want to make a backup from. The CD's are SOF (Soldier of Fortune), Need for Speed Porsche 200, Swat 3, Rogue Spear and Homeworld. I have checked the CD's against the "CloneCD Games Database" by MoD, and found that they all are protected in different ways. I have a HP8100+ CD-writer and a AOPEN CD-952E CD-reader, both are on the same IDE cable. I'm using NERO v. 5.0.2.4. I can't copy any of these CD's. Do I need some extras from GameCopyWorld (like patches or something)?? Please advise, as I'm going nuts over here. Thanx in advance. Mr Vmax |

Thanx.... so far. I do NOT have CloneCD. If I had, these CD's wouldn't be of any problem. But my CD-writer is not supported by CloneCD (and it never will be either according to their info). So I need to go the long way, roughly copying the CD's and add some cracks and/or some No-CD or other patches to it.
But if any of you know how to do this in a simple way, I would love to hear about it. Mr Vmax |
Hope this will help, I had a similer prob but with cloned games, and i wnated to copy them, and clone didnt support my drive (samsung 304b latest firmware.)
I dont really think that its a case of CloneCD not supporting your Drive, its your drive not supporting clone !!! my drive is not listed in there hardware listings but its works a treat, ive not had a coaster yet ! and hope not to get one !, So i i was you i would download the latest CloneCD register it, with a serial from anyware, and then go and find the latest firmware for your CD writer, hopefully it make the drive support RAW writing and reading and if it does, then BINGO. If not try CDRWin , and play about witht eh reading settings, and lowere the error retrys, well hope this half works for ya, ley me know if you have any luck, and GOOD LUCK !! |
