DON'T BUY HP BURNERS

Why?
1. They can't overburn
2. If you have a problem there is no 1-800 number...its long distance
3. If you get through to tech support you'll be lucky you get somebody that don't tell you the problem is not w/ the burning but w/ your computer(they're not sure what part but its not the burner)
4. If you know it IS your burner because of your technical expertise they will look of the error in their "books and manuals" and will come back 15 mins later on a long distance call and say "I don't beleive it!"
5. Chances are you'll have to phone tech support more than 2 times..and still get the same bullshit...is this #####ed?...is this #####ed..?? what is this set too??(if they would have read your case they wouldn't be askin you these questions on a long distance phone call)

How do i know this? lets just say that i've had many...many...many encounters....and wasted over 3 hrs of long distance and still nothing was solved. Luckily I'm in Eng. Sci. and know a little about computers! Apparently Im not the only one that has suffered.

SO BEWARE! DON'T BUY HP BURNERS!
