Traxdata Silver - Bad?
Hello fellow burners,
Just bought 50 80min Traxdata silvers - not cased, but housed in cardboard-type holders. They cost £15 here in the UK. I've tried to use them on my Traxata 8432+ writer at 8x. No such joy, depiste the drive being fairly new and having the latest firmware (v2.5). The drive is fine. it's just that when I put these discs in I get a clicking noise, as if the drive is having trouble finding something. The green read LED just won't stop flashing. Of the cd's that are recognised, I get burn errors after about 15sec. This has NEVER happened before, even with Traxdata cd's that I usuall get boxed. I think I may have bought a bunch of coasteres. Iv'e got the same discs yet cased from a previous purchase and these work 100% fine. The same goes for EVERY other brand of disc I've tested. Anyone else had the same trouble with these cd's? |
