PSX backup Q's (new here)

hey guys.. i was wondering...

1. how to burn a psx game WITHOUT need of a chip
(i know this is possible but does anybody here know?)
2. what stuff do i need?
(programs, black cds,patches etc)
3. can you keep it simplified?
(thurough, but simplified blow by blow tutorial..i dont know exactly how to navigate this site..weird)
4. is ther a certain kind of cd i need to make so i can play them on my ps2?
(like burning a boot cd on a black cd)
5. would a gs2\codebreaker help for booting ps1 cds?
(or perhaps a GS lite)
6. what would i go through to burn games like ff7-9
(multi disk possibly encoded games)

last but not least...
