Yeah, myself and a few others here have owned or do own this chip. It's competant and pretty much works as advertised. The only problems appear to surface on games with extremely large TOCs (and I was able to get a DMC backup to play pretty much flawlessly most of the time).
If you get one, make sure you also get a copy of NightStalker's excellent GS 2.x boot method, unless you happen to own a GS 1.7 or 1.9x flavor. Hope this helps Tril
