where is a good place to get said mod?

is it the same chip that is on gamegizmo?

is there a better place to purchase?

got ntsc v5 w. a pioneer dvd-r. am i set?

he said messiah doesnt work for v5 ntsc. only 4.

and i dont really have a prob doin the swap. obviously i would like to get the m chip, but it is not available.

Yeah, myself and a few others here have owned or do own this chip. It's competant and pretty much works as advertised. The only problems appear to surface on games with extremely large TOCs (and I was able to get a DMC backup to play pretty much flawlessly most of the time).

If you get one, make sure you also get a copy of NightStalker's excellent GS 2.x boot method, unless you happen to own a GS 1.7 or 1.9x flavor.
