As my name suggest, I am an annoyed mother. I have 2 kids, 2 1/2 and 4 1/2 year old. We bought educational games for them but they want to play them all the time. Since I need my computer for work, we bought a used Celeron 266mgh for them.
To make my life (and their lives and the lives of the cd-roms) easier, I thought of copying the games on the hard drive so they would need (or loose or destroy) the cds. I tried and it did not work, the game still asked for the disk. I wrote to the companies and they said it could not be done. Now someone directed me to this website where I've learned about no-cds and such. Now I did NOT expect any of you to have made a no-cd patch for a 4 year old's game. My question is: is there a program out there that will allow me to make such a patch? Or is there a website for 4 year old hackers??? Thanks Desperate mom. |
