need help with my vga box...

first of all, as i'm new on this forum, hi to everyone around

my problem is that i get a black screen (sound works) with some games and my vga box like skies of arcadia (echelon), gta2 (echelon too), code veronica, etc...

it seems like this problem would come from the fact that those games are pal releases without 60 Hz option and that my screen doesn't like 50Hz (the screen is a viewsonic P95f)...i get the sound on those games, but no picture at all although they are supposed to be vga compatibles

if someone ever had a problem like that and found a solution, it would be very nice to tell me because i don't have a tv and desperatly want to play those games...
