need help with my vga box...
 

hi

first of all, as i'm new on this forum, hi to everyone around :)

my problem is that i get a black screen (sound works) with some games and my vga box like skies of arcadia (echelon), gta2 (echelon too), code veronica, etc...

it seems like this problem would come from the fact that those games are pal releases without 60 Hz option and that my screen doesn't like 50Hz (the screen is a viewsonic P95f)...i get the sound on those games, but no picture at all although they are supposed to be vga compatibles

if someone ever had a problem like that and found a solution, it would be very nice to tell me because i don't have a tv and desperatly want to play those games...:(

just wanted to add that an other fact that made me thought this problem could come from the screen is that with pal games with a 60Hz option, the vga box just boots the game in 60Hz (on a tv, you get to choose between both)

hey well my copy of gta2 do support vga, which is a PARADiSO release (pal version!!).

my copy of Bio Hazard Code Veronica Complete (jap) EURASiA , and
Resident Evil Code Veronica Kalisto (USA ?? , but i found a europe_warn.da file in the root dir)
also support vga without hexedit it.

so whats ur problem with ur RECV there??
