PSX burning woes
I can't seem to burn a PSX title without getting audio stutters during FMV. I've tried just about every combination of the following:
1) CDRWin and CloneCD 2) 1x read/write up to max read/write 3) 8x generic media and PNY 12x CDRs 4) Create image from CD writer (Yamaha CRW2100E) and also my DVD/CD player. I always write to hard disk first. I haven't received any read errors. 5) Been trying different PSX titles from 1996-1998 range (monster rancher, parasite eve, etc.) The best I have done was with CDRWin and the max recording speed (16x) - my 1x read/write attempts have TERRIBLE audio. I've been using the recommended software settings for CDRWin and CloneCD that seem to be the consensus. Any thoughts? I think I need to focus on the WRITE portion of the problem - I'm pretty sure I'm getting a clean read. Maybe different media? Any help would be appreciated. I'm pretty sure others are burning PSX backups ok with the Yamaha CRW2100E and the same software so I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong. Thanks! |
