Can non-MIL DC play Utopia?

Hey, i was just wondering if a normal Utopia Boot CD will run on a non-MIL DC... I'm trying to narrow down the problems I'm having with this DC i got. None of the CD-Rs im burning are working, but i did burn Utopia and that works fine (meaning the deer shows up). I used discjuggler on all of them. Im gettin frustrated with with the non-MIL workaround, and i was hoping if i could get a clear yes or no MIL or non-MIL by looking at how Utopia plays on it... hopefully im just having burning problems?
