DVD-RW/+RW using Matrix Infinity

Hi,

I had installed a Matrix Infinity on my PS2 a few years ago and it's been working fine although I can't use any rewritable media (DVD-RW/DVD+RW).
The chip itself doesn't have any F wire and nothing else connects to that point on the board.
Is it possible to do something to make rewritable medias work with it?
