I need help on burbing PSX games

What my problem is that I got a couple of patches to make some of my PSX games that will drop the protection on games but I do not know how to or on what files do I need to put the patch on. I do know that I need to copy the game to my hard drive to do this process. Also that on one of the files it tells me to put the patch on one of the *.bin file but on that game it has 7 different *.bin files, so I do not know which one to put it on. Will anyone please help???
