I need help on burbing PSX games

What my problem is that I got a couple of patches to make some of my PSX games that will drop the protection on games but I do not know how to or on what files do I need to put the patch on. I do know that I need to copy the game to my hard drive to do this process. Also that on one of the files it tells me to put the patch on one of the *.bin file but on that game it has 7 different *.bin files, so I do not know which one to put it on. Will anyone please help???

Hi guys,(sheesh it's been a year since I last visited this forum).

Listen, put the original(or the copy) of the game in your cd-rom(put it in your writer as this one can read more). Now you have to start CdrWin(I hope you know it), if you don't have it get it at psxcopyworld(look at the links above). Here you have to select "extract disc/tracks/sectors" (third option from above).
in the next screen select your your cd-rom in which you put your game.
Then choose the name for the image(if you press on the button next to the textfield, the one with the three little dots you can choose the path).
In the part where it says "Track selection" don't change anything, neither in "sector selecton.
In "Reading Options" make sure that "RAW" is selected.
For "error recovery" choose "ignore".
For "Read Retry Count"(almost at the bottom), insert "5". Leave everything else unchanged
Now you're ready to go. Just press start and enjoy the ride.
----------------------------------------------------------
When CdrWin successfully extracts the cd close it and open PPF-O-Matic(or any other ppf program) which you also can get from psxcopyworld. This program is self explaining, but for you guys here goes: locate the *.bin file and then the patch-file, the *.ppf(most files come zipped, so unzip first). Then simply press the apply button. If you have the right patch, it will say that is was succesfull. If not, download the right file.
---------------------------------------------------------
Open CdrWin again. Choose "Record Disc"(first option). From the right choose "Load cuesheet", loacate where you extracted the disc, and next to the *.bin you'll find a *.cue with the same name. Load this one. CdrWin will load the *.bin. Now select a safe speed to record(I burn at 2x, but some say 1x is the safest). Deslect the option to test and press "start". Again sit back and enjoy. When it has burnt succesfully, put it in you're psx and Play.

I hope I could help you.
If you have any other questions, just post them.

Screech,

Thank you for the information on how to use the cdrwin program because I was lost on how to use it. Thanks again!

i have a question about cdrwin ... when im done making an image (.bin) file of a game and i go to copy i load the cuesheet and when i click start recording it brings up an error saying : ERROR : START DAO RECORDING .... failed on device 0:1:0 (burner) .. and then it says unable to set disc parameters ... what does that mean?

is it that it doesnt support my burner ?

You're welcome Raziel.
As for alleyoopboota, I know I had it once, it it meant that my computer was f***ed up(my harddrive crashed a couple of days later). CdrWin does support a lot of burners. Sometimes when I get an error messages I just delete the *.bin and make a new one. When the previous one i made was with the normal cd-rom, the next one I make will be with the burner and vice versa. This sometimes works.
Just try it.
