Vice City CD Version?!

i dont know if that the right forum to ask but the problem is i dont know what forum should i ask in ?!

anyway the problem is i got Vice City CD Version and i make an image from it with alcohol at the general protection settings i want to put that image on a dvd media i mean to write the image on a dvd not a cd does it work or it will not write at all ??
