Intel 3.0e H.T 800 FSB Heat Issues

wanted to know do all Intel 3.0e and above processors generate a lot of heat , like before i had an intel 533fsb 2.4 non HT and the temp would not go above 50c even in games.

Now after i upgraded idle temperature is about 48 to 50c and when playing games i check it out it goes to about 60c.

Is that dangerous ? , i turn on the a.c in my room when the room is cool enough i check the temps again idle is about 42c and when playing games is about 54 to 56c.

i also have a 6800 ultra in the system due to the hear i have opened the side of the case , i was thinking of puting a small blower fan which will proivide cooling for the entire case.

maybe the temp go down with that.

any further idea how to reduce the heat..
