and the size of the download is 12.2MB. Ergo, almost all of the changes in the 1.0b patch were made to the executable, so there's very little point using the original fixed exe with the patch in this case.

To those who have installed the patch and haven't played the game since - a re-install will not overwrite your saved games.

So it's not such a big deal for most players that we don't have a 1.0b no-cd patch yet. However, anyone with an Intel i915 chipset will be frustrated, and there were about half a dozen gameplay issues fixed (most of the fixes were cosmetic stuff, art issues, text/voice mismatches, etc)

Besides, most of the fixes were for dark side issues, and frankly, you mess with the dark side of the force, you get what's coming.
