last time i had 612 error it was a time out problem but i was runnin my bband through a set top box and sony said it was for that reason and recomended to me to get a modem instead !!!!! and hey presto problem solved .
as for an internet cafe cant help ya ! what service they usin,firewalls ,?,?,? pass.........
