Act of War - Windows 98 ?

It doesn't launch, saying it is missing some exports from WMVCORE.DLL

as i wrote before,after replacing the old exe with the new one released
by securom,the game finally runs - even though Atari confirmed that this
game does'nt support Win98.
Maybe it's a big difference if you're using Windows98 or Windows98SE?

But a friend also has Win98SE and the game does'nt run,
i really want to know why...
