As would Thc + Optimummind because they obviously made 1.1 backup's for their perticular drives. Dont be so quick to say some-one is wrong unless you are extremley rarely wrong yourself which is extremley rare in its self

If for some reason you can't make a 1:1 try this.

Use regedit.

Go to

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE
Then SYSTEM
Look for a listing that says MountedDevices
Right click and choose PERMISSIONS
Highlight Administrators on the top box then look for the listing on the bottom box that says READ.
Now place a check mark in the DENY box on the READ line.
Hit APPLY, then OK and you're done.

Works for Project: Snowblind no problem and it uses SR7. What is does is deny Safedisk access to the CD/DVD to verify, so SD assumes your copy is legit and the game starts.

Just remember to always make a backup of your registry before making any changes. I have not had one single issue.

Sorry this works if you have backup or image of your game in your CD/DVD drive or virutal Drive. Forgot about that.
