[QUOTE=xman26]Does anyone know how to rip from VHS to dvd? What hardware and software do i need?

THANKS!![

Get your self a HP external dvd movie writer.
Hook up a VCR to the movie writer and movie writer to the usb port on your computer.
You will run into problems with "macrovision" protection on the VHS. There is a product called "clarrifier" available from Facet Video. which you install between the VHS and movie writer.

It takes about 4 hours to copy a VHS. but it works!
