Believe me, Win98 DOES NOT like me )) every time i started doing something it froze or crashed or made my work corrupt..... that's why i switched to XP in the first place )

and yeah, i know i won't be learning anything if i use the automatic removers, but it still works ) ofcourse, in my case, it doesnt

as for the unsafedisc v1.5.5 it says the following when u try to rip a file...
"winNT/2k detected! i may crash now. (press ok)"
- i press it
"exception occured in do_safedisc_**** @ 0001f078h.."

i could try to run it thru a c++ debugger, and try to find the address it's reffering to (altho it's probably "the file i want to rip"s address) and maybe pull something off, but i doubt it.........
i'll keep on looking for the tutorials and the tools needed for the job, but i could really use some "filling-in"
tnx again, you helped
