Install question RSOD with dms4 lite

I've modded a v7 with dms4 lite. Ps2 powers on. It will open and close fine. I put in a disc and it goes to browser then for a brief moment I see the blue disc (cd) and then it goes to rsod. I counted wires that I have installed and it's 20. Did I miss installing a wire? I have tried to flash the chip but I can't get past rsod. Laser was working before install. It just seems like I'm so close but just can't figure out what's going on. The connections look fine. I can't see that any are bridged. I'm fairly certain I didn't fry the motherboard-since I doubt I would get to the browser screen if it was fried. Any ideas? Thanks. Cheryl
