burnout 3 issues

hey all, my first post ever (i tried to register before but there was an error )

but anyway, i have a backed up version of burnout 3, it's an .iso, and i've burnt it with Alcohol 120%, now when i put it in my PS2 it will load up to the screen where my playstation 2 logo appears (with that weird short sound) and after that, my screen stays black :S i don't know what i did wrong, 'cuz i burnt Kingdom Hearts with Nero, and that games works (almost) fine, only sound stutters in movies, and ingame when i press the start button it sometimes hangs and i have to reset.. but it's playable! now burnout 3 is really unplayable.. mayb an EA protection?

i use Arita DVD-R's (worked fine with Kingdom Hearts)
i burnt it at 2.3x (couldn't go slower, sadly enough)
and i have a NEC 2500A

i hope someone can give me an anwser to this problem

kind regards,

Befmanz
