The Sims 2 dvd backup

hi ppl i bought the sims 2 and its on 4 cd's i would like to no if i can get them to work from just 1 dvd-r as a backup cos the idea of messing with 4cds doesnt really fill me with excitement ive already tried this but i get errors when trying to open the file compressed.zip it says its dammaged but it cant be cos the game installs fine any ideas on that i would like to make 1 zip out of all the compressed.zips so i can put it onto 1 dvd anyway thankz in advance for all replys

its ok done it made a full working backup onto dvd..also made 1:1 copy of cds and that works fine also with cd 1
