Alright guys! Here's an update! I did it!
As expected, the fuse from Tomek's did not fit!  Also, he scotch-taped the fuse to his inkjet printed bill and folded the power cable i orderd which now has a permanent crink in it. Yup, last time I order from there. Anyway, the Fuse did not fit on it, or even close to the spot where it should go. So rather than just soldering it closed I made a couple very tiny jumper wires. Here's a pic. Sorry for the crappy quality, only had a webcam handy. PS2 works now btw. Uhh.. upload not working.
