thats a simple question
thing that will kill it quicker is using cheap media ie princo,leaddata. playing rips leaving it coated in dust just clean it as much as u can and it will be fine dont use cheap media and it will last for a long time. the only thing that will die is the laser and if you got a new console it will last along time and if it does which usially goes after 2-3 years just replace it usially costs around 35 pounds to replace and is easy to fit.
