Hi again m8.
Yep, my m8 had a few teathing problems with this setup but he was using XP. Firstly as mentioned have u installed nero or sumfing similar with correct aspi drivers on it to recognise the writer. Is there any recognition at all? does it come up as a cdrom drive? Try pluggin it into a usb 1 port on yr laptop an see if that recognises it. I would suspcet the pci to usb2 adapter as my m8 had a lot of problems with his. Regards
