No, no, no. Why do most people always do it the hard way? There is no music cd that can't be copied but it's not how you would expect.

Just get a digital cassette player and feed line out from it to your line in of the sound card. Play the cd and use another utility to record it to the HD. Then use nero to burn the tracks back to a cd or whatever. the options are endless.
