XBMP Doesn't Work!!!!

I've tried several times to get the Xbox Media Player to work on my Xbox, with no success. I have Nero, and Xiso. I know how to make a working Xiso cause my emulator discs are proof of that, and of course I know how to burn. Anyway, here's what happens. Here are are two scenarios.

1. I'll put the disc inside the Xbox, and turn it off. Then, I'll turn it on, the logo appears, then the words Microsoft appear at the bottom, then it freezes, it stays there, and you can hear the laser clicking.

2. I'll turn the Xbox on with no disc, it goes to my Evo X dashboard, I put the disc in, at the top right of the screen, it'll say "checking", then it says "game" and fades to the evox logo, *sigh* and freezes, with a clicking laser. All my games, backups, and emulators work. Please help this confused soul. All help will be greatly appreciated. Thank You.
