XBMP Doesn't Work!!!!

I've tried several times to get the Xbox Media Player to work on my Xbox, with no success. I have Nero, and Xiso. I know how to make a working Xiso cause my emulator discs are proof of that, and of course I know how to burn. Anyway, here's what happens. Here are are two scenarios.

1. I'll put the disc inside the Xbox, and turn it off. Then, I'll turn it on, the logo appears, then the words Microsoft appear at the bottom, then it freezes, it stays there, and you can hear the laser clicking.

2. I'll turn the Xbox on with no disc, it goes to my Evo X dashboard, I put the disc in, at the top right of the screen, it'll say "checking", then it says "game" and fades to the evox logo, *sigh* and freezes, with a clicking laser. All my games, backups, and emulators work. Please help this confused soul. All help will be greatly appreciated. Thank You.

Either it was a bad iso image or the configuration for xbmp is wrong.

ok, then I would like it, if someone could send me their working xbmp program to me. either email or pm. I've downloaded quite a few versions. I think the only way i can get a working one, is for someone to send me their working copy. Please help!!!!

Also, I want to know if someone can point me in the direction of making working emulators for the Xbox. The genesis emulator needs work. What do I do?

I will try and send it to you. I also remember alot of people having trouble running xbmp off a CD-rw/dvd. You might have to run it off your HDD if you haven't tried already.

As for making emus...
I don't know how to program, but you will probably have to know C++. The xbox runs off of the direct X engine, so I think it's pretty close to developing for a PC. Also, you need to get the Xbox Developers Kit (xdk). This is illegal and a legal developers kit is being developed now, but the reason why nobody has those apps like evoX to download is because it was made with the xbk.

If you want to work on an existing emulator, that all depends on if it's bean made open source or not. There are probably some good PC emulators that are open source. If you know how to program, you can probably convert the coding to run on the xbox.
