Magic 3 Newbie

Hi I'm totally new to this modding stuff, and wanted to ask a few things.

I want to buy a Magic 3 from Modchip.com.

Are there any things I need in addition to place it in my console, or are those things included in the package?

If I have no experience at all, with putting MOD-chips in a console(i know how to put a PC together though) will it work out fine...or will I just mess up my PS2?

With that thing, can I play Imports & Backups?

Will it work with every PS2 console?
