The Magic 2 V3 is for BIOS 020
The Magic 2 V4 is for BIOS 030 The Magic 2 R is for BIOS 040 The Magic 2 V7 is for BIOS 050 You can open up the PS2 and look at the BIOS chip and it has 030 or 040 stamped on it. But we have collected all this data based on the datecode/Uxx/PTxx number and so far this serial is shown to have BIOS 030. But it does no harm to check - adds to the database. Incidentally I have an e-mail exchange with china-magic to back up my above definitions in relation to the 1C question.
