PPF-O-Matic not working

Using PPF-O-Matic v3.0, and an NGEmu ppf; http://www.ngemu.com/psx/misc.php?action=ppf I attempted to patch a .bin of Dino Crisis 1. Apparently the patch was successful, however the game still freezes on the violence warning screen whenever I attempt to play it using PSX. What could be wrong? Thanks for helping.
