As for the dll crash, did you copy the Farcry.exe into the BIN32 folder of the game and overwrite the existing Farcy.exe?

And you MUST you apply patch 1.3 before applying 1.31!

must aply patch 1.3 than 1.31... you mean I need to have first installed 1.3 and than 1.31, not vica versa? if so I did that. (first 1.3, than 1.31)
