Hi,
I have a dead TEAC CD-W516EB CD writer because of a blackout during firmware updating. Now my drive is not detectable even by BIOS itself. I can't reupdate the firmware because the TEAC's firmware updater is for Windows and it needs a detectable drive in order to do it. So my only option is to use a DOS based firmware updater which directly communicate via IDE controller. Is there any updater which run from DOS for my drive? Thank you in advance. |
