Im sure you could derive the same amount of pride installing your chip in a newer ps2. But I guess since youll probably wind up with a v9 or v10 and wont be able to use your chip. I understand where your comming from.
Why is it exaclty that you cant get your wire to the other side of the board? You think longer wire would help? Tyler!
