Need help on AppleX3

I have a xbox version 1.0. I follow the soldering guide from apple site. Everything looks good but I still can't get the mod to work. Is there a way to tell if mod working without having to keep resoldering again and again.

how did you solder? Do you have an on/off switch, or did ou solder it to turn on/off with the eject/power button?

If the chip is on, I believe it has a different colored X logo when it starts up. If it isn't pre-flashed, then it should boot to a cromwell, blue screen.

what version xbox do you have?
