Copy Protection.

Hi there,
this is Amit Bagadia, i m a student from India and am doing a class project on Cd copy protection.

i find loads of info on products which are performing cd data protection, but each one seems to just mention thier techniques in words.

There are no algos which explain how the actual process works behind the scenes.
I would like to know if u could direct me to reference pages on the same, place where i can find algorithms for copy protections.

my aim is to work on a project that would allow
- Disabling of copying from CD-Rom drive
- making the CD of one time use only, ie rendering is usless after a successful installation

although most products available have a cracked version or code available to render if useless , i would like to know how does any of those softwares actually work. the algorithms , the structure of the software, the SRS that goes into any copy protection software.

if any of you guys would be able to give me access or links to the reqd info, i 'd be very grateful.
