another satisfied norcalmods customer... john fixed my ps2 after i blew a fuse trying to do the install myself... he ordered and replaced the fuse... and installed a matrix infinity on my V7... works great!! if you're a newb looking to get a chip i would definitely recommend getting it installed by a pro (norcalmods), if i could do it over again i wouldn't have even considered doing it myself. i would def do business with them again.

Add another notch to Norcal Mods Great ratings.
I would've paid more for the Matrix Infinity chip and install service but J&M are definately good considerate people.
Excellent communication, awesome soldering skills, and speedy service!

I just ordered my PS2 v10 w/ Matrix Infinity a few days ago from John at norcalmods.com and received it the next day and it working GREAT! I recommended to anyone that planning to get a new PS2.

I guess I'll add myself to the list of satisfied customers for Norcalmods. John installed a Matrix Infinity in my V7. Very fast & courteous email responses before during & after the installation from both John & Monica. Matter of fact, he emailed me as he was working on my machine. Makes it feel like you're dealing with " the local guy" even though we're on opposite coasts.

John received my PS2 on a Friday 9/10, I got it back on Friday 9/17 in NY. Of course, everything's working perfectly or I wouldn't be writing this message lol.

John & Monica know what it takes to do business! No disrespect to any other installers but Norcalmods deserves all the props they get. If you're gonna get your machine chipped, don't look any further!

Heard some horror stories about installers out there everything from burning their ps2 to theft. Still I had a better chance of trusting someone to do it than I would have trying to do it myself.

Heard about norcalmods from another forum and decided to trust them. I couldnt have made a better decision. Excellent excellent service. Great communication, I had a version 1 ps2 and he took the time to send me about 5-6 emails giving me advice when he could have easily took my money then left me with a ps2 that would have probably quit reading games in a few months. I picked up a refurbed ps2, sent it off to him and got it back quick.

I also dont want to take anything away from other installers but if you want someone who does a great job, who is honest, quick, and gives you the time it takes check out Norcalmods, specifically John.

Got a matrix infinity installed in a version 7 ps2 and love it. Also nice to know that I dont have to worry about looking for another installer in the future I have found a great one!

I really cant say enough nice things about them.

This thread has been retired. It was brought up and voted upon and it seems clear that Northcal Mods is the only one left using it. Im sure we can all agree that he is an excellent installer and there is no use to continue racking up the votes. If more installers appear then maybe we can start this up again but until then it is retired.

Do not worry this will not be deleted or taken off the UIS.
