First of all, hello people. And hope you can guide me towards the light

Okay... so far its pissing me off.

I tried burning the game called "Legend of Dragoon" for the PSX 3 times by burning the .cue file, and everytime, my PSX would display a blue screen saying "Please insert a PlayStation CD-ROM". My PSX IS modded too.

Later on, I found out that there is an XPS patch available for Legend of Dragoon, I d/led the patch, and ran MS-DOS from the Run by typing in "Command". I followed these exact steps (taken from MegaGames)

The XPS executable is a MS-DOS utility so just open a DOS-Box (MS-DOS Prompt) and enter the following at the command line prompt:

USAGE: XPS <PatchName.XPS> [<Filesname.ISO>]

Examples:

* To patch an ISO CD-Image, enter:

XPS PatchName.XPS Filename.ISO
* To display the information about the XPS file, enter:

XPS PatchName.XPS

I tried doing that, but all that DOS tells me is "XPS is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file" ....

If anyone can assist me towards the steps needed to burn the game and have it working properly on my PSX, you have my gratitude.

where you get the image of the game from?

try making a new image from your discs and use one of these GS codes to bypass the anti-mod protection

or

if neither of them work add C1000000 0000 in front of the codes

Unfortunately, I dont own a GS, so patches seem to be the only solution..

No, they shouldn't. Some companies just make good first-timers, but poor sequels. I haven't ever seen a good sequel by Sony. They would only thrash the feeling of the original game.

BTW, with no sequels or spinoffs, Legend of Dragoon is unique.
