screen play troubles..?

sorry new to this, hope I'm doing the right thing
can someone please help?
I have battlefield 2
installed it ok
but when I hit the play icon
an intro (I'm guessing) screen comes up really quick with
battlefield 2 on it
then the screen goes blank and it looks like the game is gonna start like my other games the it just goes back to windows?
Do i need to update the game, just got it though?
Someone was saying it might be video card problems...
my computer is about 4 years old
would it be too old already??
hope not, any help would be great thankyou

Yes it would most definately be your video card causing the problem. What card do you have?
Also read the system requirements on the side of the box. (you will need a magnifying glass as the writing is so so tiny!)

my card info

thanks grumpy
I think its a ASUS V8460 series... does that make sense?

however when I right click on the desktop to see the screen info it
says its a GE Force4 Ti 4200 does that make more sense
I think I downloaded the NVIDIA that came with the game?
cause that is mentioned there too

well do you know if I can update it to run battlefield 2
or am I up for a new card as well?

thanks for you help mate

Unfortunately for you Battlefield 2 does not support the GE Force4 Ti 4200.
As far as I remember anyway? You will need a new card to play.
