SecuRom freez

hi

i got a very important question about newer games wich use securom7.

am i the only one who experiences keyboard and mouse freezes trying to start up games like FEAR or Wh40kWinterAssault ? it happens even while trying to start the games with the original dvds.......and the strangest is that it does only freez keyboard and mouse and not the cd rom or the whole maschiene.....


the only thing which would help was a nocd patch for FEAR but with wh40k its another thing......sometimes it starts no idea why but mostly it freezes my pc...

the big problem is that those games installed without any probs but runing them doesn't work well at least not if they need to access a cd,dvd drive and it doesn't matter if the drive is virtual or not i tried everything explained in these forums about wh40k but it still doesn't work.....

would be nice if anyone could help me thanks

erm ya and one thing to complete my probs......antiblaxx or srstop doesn't help :/
i'd be happy if i would get an error msg or something but the prog doesn't even try my dvd-drive with the original dvd within..........are there any known bugs or dvd-drives sr7 doesn't support??

Just register on the appropriate game forums and post there, the publisher/developer is better able to help!

Check you have chipset drivers installed, CD/DVD using DMA mode, IRQ's not conflicting. Many things could be the problem, that's why it's best to ask for support from the relevant company!
