Angry Proper way to backup Sims2 from Retail

I bought Sims2 and I would like to make a perfect backup copy of it. I did however read some acticles on ways to backup. However I used the Alcohol 120 program to back it up. When I made the copy of all 4 cds, I installed the copy on my other computer. Well it says please insert disc when disc 1 is in the drive. Now I dont want to use the cd crack to make it work at all from a seperate download. How can I make a copy of Sims2 with the crack already on it? I am clueless on it. Any peferred method would be appreciated.
