D'OH hd ??????

i saw that in info thread about hd seannyb said he used a 6gb hd ????? i was hopeing to use a 8gb hd just for gta san andreas have a samsung 8gb but when i insert the hd loader disc it comes up hd loader then stays like it any ideas just dont want to buy a bigger hd at the moment as am buying home boo hoo skint for 30 years btw my other hd is 120gb (full)

was in old pc so have formated hd 8.3 gig so theres now 8.3 free space and hd loader still does the same !!!!! arrrggghhh is it the samsung hd (compatable) coz when i put the disc in without the hd is says no hd found !!!!! HELP ITS DOIN MY HEAD IN

Look on google for PS2 HD FORMAT UTIL'S. Their are some utils made just for the ps2 hard drives, so you can format them, and if i remember correctly on the compatible list theirs a 8gb hdd..

if your ps2 is modded, try to format the hdd with dms format tool and if your ps2 is not modded, put the hdd in pc and format it with winhiip.
if hdloader still freezes on splash screen, try to eject the hdloader disk when the splash screen appears.
