can you put a xbox dvd drive in your pc

I cant remember who I heard this from but it woundnt work due to something about the drive internals being exclusively made for xbox but the source isnt all that reliable so give it a try and see if it works for ya. I havent tried it myself but I do have an extra drive as well so if you want, i could try it for you and post the results. You can probably do the same so its up to you. I do have a spare pc as well. I think it will need a driver so I dont know if one will be available for this purpose. Maybe windows will autodetect it.

At this point, I am gonna keep the xbox drive for the moment cause I am in the process of trying to get the whole xbox fixed. As for the spare pc, it is kinda old and I doubt you would want to buy it cause it is an amd k6-2 550mhz or something like that with only 128mg pc100 mem. It is almost an antique. ... If you are seriously interested in the pc, you can pm me.
The xbox was working at one point and then started the red and green flashing light routine. I ended up buying a new one and kept the old one until i can figure out if it can be fixed or not.

If you wanted a pc, here is a site you can check out. I'm sure once you see this, you probably wont want this oldie!
