xbox ftp client
Hey Guys, does anybody know if you can connect two xboxes together using xbox ftp client v.0.62 and either a cross over or straight through cable and not using a router or hub? I tried this tonight and couldn't get my two boxes to connect. I used a cross over and a straight through and neither worked. Don't know if I need a hub or if I'm doing something wrong.

try a search on the xbox forum for ftp or networking. I remember a post a long time ago that I read about this but I never replied to it so its not in my archieves now. If it doesnt come up, you can check with www.xbox.com and see if the have some tutorial info on this.

u gotta use a crossover
said em both to different static ip's when usin the program add the other xbox's ip then reboot ur box then go back in and connect to that ip

~WoMeNlOvEr ... so far ive moddded xboxes with: 2 Matrixes 3 Xbits My xbox!: -250 gig -XBIT -4981.06 x2 -orange led for light, matching beautifully with the orange x in the splash screen -Component cable my problem...solved?!: -one of my friends says he can get about 450 files off it!... and now i havent seen him for about 4 months..and ive written him like 11 emails.. I think I used avalaunch when I connected 2 xbox's.
